What
is the Gathering with Aram Vehapar event all about?
Aram
Vehapar will be in the United States attending a conference at Notre
Dame. He has requested a gathering of young Armenians from across
the US and Canada to coincide with his visit.
What
is the theme and purpose?
The
theme for the event is “Your Church. Your Future. Engage”
the purpose of which is to bring Armenian young adults together
for a weekend of learning about and experiencing the best of what
the Armenian Church has to offer. The hope is to strengthen the
connection between young people and their Church.
What
is the age range?
The
gathering is targeted, but not limited, to Armenians from 18 to their
30’s.
Where
is the location and why?
Detroit
was chosen as it is a central location in the mid-west and close
to Toronto and the East Coast.
What’s
the cost?
There
is a registration fee of $40 for the event.
Why
December? That is a difficult time of year for those of us in college.
We
understand the challenges that the end of the semester presents
but it’s a rare opportunity that should not be missed. We
encourage you to plan ahead for this unprecedented event.
