A letter of thanks was sent to the Eastern Prelacy from the national headquarters of the American Red Cross in Washington, DC. Mr. Neal Litvack, the Chief Development Officer, thanked
Archbishop Oshagan for the monetary contribution made for earthquake relief in Haiti.

       The donation sent to the Red Cross was on behalf of the parishes of the Eastern Prelacy who had special plate collections specifically for Haiti, as well as donations received at the Prelacy from individual donors.

       Mr. Litvack thanked the Prelate and noted that the donation “helps ensure that the American Red Cross can remain in Haiti as long as we are needed. It is only through support from organizations like yours that we are able to help the Haitian people reconstruct their homes and restore their communities. Thank you once again for providing hope to the people of Haiti.”
