THREE CELIBATE PRIESTS
ORDAINED IN ANTELIAS

        Three new celibate priests were ordained at the Cathedral of St. Gregory the Illuminator in Antelias, Lebanon during the weekend of June 5-6. His Holiness Aram I presided over the ceremonies. On Sunday the Divine Liturgy and the service of ordination were officiated by His Eminence Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States. The three candidates who successfully completed their Seminary education and were ordained are: Deacon Kevork Arabian, now Very Rev. Fr. Ardag; Dn. Mikayel Tashjian, now Very Rev. Fr. Vartan; and Dn. Hovaness Tahanian, now Very Rev. Fr. Hrant.
        In his sermon, Archbishop Moushegh thanked His Holiness for entrusting him with the joyful task of ordaining the new servants of God and expressed his congratulations to the members of the Cilician Brotherhood, the administrative staff of the Seminary, and the newly ordained celibate priests.
