ceremonies. On Sunday the Divine Liturgy and the service of ordination
were officiated by His Eminence Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian,
Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States. The three
candidates who successfully completed their Seminary education and were
ordained are: Deacon Kevork Arabian, now Very Rev. Fr. Ardag; Dn.
Mikayel Tashjian, now Very Rev. Fr. Vartan; and Dn. Hovaness Tahanian,
now Very Rev. Fr. Hrant.
In his sermon, Archbishop Moushegh thanked His Holiness for
entrusting him with the joyful task of ordaining the new servants of
God and expressed his congratulations to the members of the Cilician
Brotherhood, the administrative staff of the Seminary, and the newly
ordained celibate priests.
