PRELATE’S ANNUAL CHRISTMAS RECEPTION
NEW YORK, NY—On Sunday evening, January 6, Archbishop Oshagan Choloyan, Prelate of the Eastern Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America, greeted a large number of friends from the tri-state area at his annual Christmas reception at the Prelacy headquarters in New York City, hosted by the Prelacy Ladies Guild.

His Eminence received the good wishes received the good wishes expressed by the attendees and he reciprocated with prayers for a healthy New Year.

Rev. Fr. Mesrob Lakissian, pastor of St. Illuminator’s Cathedral in New York City, conducted the traditional home blessing ceremony, assisted by Rev. Fr. Nareg Terterian, pastor of St. Sarkis Church in Douglaston, New York, Rev. Fr. Hovnan Bozoian, pastor of Sts. Vartanantz Church in Ridgefield, New Jersey, and Archdeacon Shant Kazanjian, director of the Armenian Religious Education Council (AREC).

Ambassador Armen Martirossian, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the United Nations, and Mrs. Martirossian joined the many guests in expressing their good wishes to the Prelate and the Vicar, Bishop Anoushavan Tanielian.
Guests enjoyed a lavish buffet of Armenian delicacies.
